NIB EXHIBITION
A GALLERY FOR THE 10TH EDITION OF TH NEW ITALIAN BLOOD AWARD
REALIZED PROJECT

The installation exhibits the 10th edition of the NIB Award, at Valle Giulia-Faculty of Architecture (University Sapienza of Rome), from May 6th to 11th, 2019, during the annual Open House event.

The installation is articulated into two different areas: in the first one, colored tables and seatings outline the Faculty entrance hall as a Creative-meeting place, where students can meet and share ideas, promoting their cooperation and socialization. (Zanotta furnitures provided by Cappiello Design).

The second area is set into the main corridor of the Faculty, a space previously used by students just as a connection. The idea was to transform the simple crossing of the space into a moment of discovery and learning, walking through a Gallery collecting 40 projects by the best Italian architecture and landscape firms under 36 selected by NIB in 2018. (realization sponsored by Yachtline 1618).

The New Italian Blood is a no-profit organization based in Salerno and founded by Architect Luigi Centola, that select and award the best emerging italian firms every year. NIB received the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic and it has the patronage of the Italian “Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare”.
